DRAGON RUN 2018

SWEDESBORO — The 12th annual Dragon Run kicked off the fall Swedesboro-Woolwich Day event on Saturday, Sept. 29. Once again, over 1,000 people attended the 5K race and 1 mile walk in our home town to support the Nathaniel Boerlin Scholarship Fund.

Julie Nitowski, a 2018 scholarship recipient, attended and thanked the participants for their efforts. “Receiving the scholarship means so much to me. In marching band, all the members know how much Nate loved band and what a big part he played in it. I feel so fortunate to have been selected as a recipient of this honor. Your generosity is allowing me to pursue my dreams as a music therapist and for that I cannot thank you enough.”

Proceeds from the annual event are given to deserving Kingsway Regional students in June at graduation who embrace learning and service to their community, and a portion of the funds are given to the Kingsway Education Foundation which supports all students at Kingsway Regional.
