MULLICA HILL — Raccoon Valley Swim Club, located in the heart of Mullica Hill, is preparing to enter into its 62nd season of serving the local community, by naming a new board of trustees.
Lifelong Woolwich Township resident Jonathan Steward has been elected president. Steward’s parents, Harry and Judy Steward, were founding members of the club in 1957 and Jonathan is happy to be celebrating his own family’s 17th season of membership.
“I love hearing the stories of how my parents and their friends spent their summers at Raccoon Valley and am glad that I have made so many great friendships at the club myself,” Steward said. “Whether it’s relaxing in a chair, attending our annual crab party, or cheering on the Masked Bandit swim team, I can’t imagine a better place to relax and cool off each summer.”
Woolwich residents Basil Ingemi and Renetta Meddick continue their terms on the board along with Mullica Hill residents John Kubler, Joe Ursino and South Harrison resident Chris Jones. New to the board in 2019 are Mullica Hill residents Marcey DiGiacomo, Courtney Gabriel, Marisa Miloszewski and Woolwich resident Lisa Hariegel.
A variety of membership options are available for the 2019 season and there is currently no wait list for memberships. Raccoon Valley’s popular summer swim lesson program and many of the club’s social events are open to anyone in the community. Visit www.rvsc.org for all the details.
