MICKLETON — Learn how food sensitivities can cause physical and mental health issues at the free Conquering Leaky Gut Workshop. The event will be held on Tuesday, July 23 at 7 p.m. at the Little Red Schoolhouse, 12 Harmony Road in Mickleton.
Special guest speaker, Dr. James Tighe, specialist in Functional Nutrition and Cellular Detox, will discuss the evolution of food sensitivities, the Gut-Brain Connection, the immune system’s role, how to determine reactive foods, and how the body heals naturally following the elimination of offending foods. This event is open to the public and children are welcome.
Those experiencing digestive issues, migraines, and skin problems are encouraged to attend. This information will be especially helpful to those who have a mysterious illness which hasn’t yet been diagnosed.
