Kingsway Seniors of the month for May

Nicholas Dales

Nicholas Dales, son of Norman and Denise Dales of Woolwich Township.

School Activities:  Student Ambassador President, Track and Field, Student Council, Cultures Club, Stage Manager for Middle School Play and Talent Show, and National Art Honor Society.

Out of School Activities:   RCGC High School Options Program, Boy Scouts, dedicated member of Woolwich Fire Company, and volunteers at Salem County Humane Society.

Honors/Awards:  Eagle Scout, one year of college completed, Merit Scholarship from Rowan University, and earned second place with VFW Scouts of America Scholarship program.

Future Plans: Nicholas plans to attend Rowan University to obtain his BA in marketing and work for a large company, such as Apple to gain experience.  He then would like to return to school to become a high school business teacher or a marketing professor

Lauren Krott

Lauren Krott, daughter of Steve and Leslie Krott of Woolwich Township.

School Activities:  Varsity Cross Country, Winter Track, and Spring Track all four years of high school and was captain of each of these teams.  Editor for the Yearbook, STEM Academy, National Honor Society, and Student Ambassador.

Out of School Activities:  Volunteers for “Top Sports,” which is a local organization that helps special-needs children develop social and cooperation skills through sports and fun.

Honors/Awards:  Lauren was honored as the South Jersey Track Coaches’ Association’s Scholar Athlete this past fall.  She also received the Hoffman-DiMuzio “Gift of the Heart” award.

Future Plans:  After earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nutritional sciences at the University of Delaware, Lauren plans on becoming a registered dietician and opening her own Nutritional Counseling Center.
