LOGAN TWP. – In their search for the next generation’s Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jordan Spieth, Pre-K children at The Goddard Schools in Logan Township will have an opportunity to tee it up and play golf this summer, thanks to the Philadelphia PGA REACH Foundation.
On Aug. 13 and 14, children at the Logan Goddard School children will have the opportunity to experience golf, as part of the summer curriculum. To support this initiative, the Philadelphia PGA REACH Foundation will provide each school with an allotment of developmentally appropriate equipment that allows golf to be learned and played in non-traditional venues, including limited-space outdoor areas.
The Philadelphia PGA REACH Foundation is the charitable arm of the Philadelphia PGA Section. The program, which is fully funded by the Philadelphia PGA REACH Foundation and offered at no cost to the school/children, is hosted by PGA Professional, Gary Bates.
