MICKLETON — East Greenwich Home and School Association’s 10th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/ 1 mile Walk and 1mile Fun Run takes place on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 9 a.m. at the Jeffrey Clark School in Mickleton.
Proceeds from the event will directly Jeffrey Clark and Samuel Mickle Schools.
Register at http://www.tnteventmanagement.com. Early Bird rates are in effect through Nov. 16. After Nov. 16, race day rates apply.
Race Day registration is available from 8 to 8:45 a.m. at the Jeffrey Clark School, 7 Quaker Road, Mickleton. Fun run starts promptly at 9 a.m.; 5k run and 1-mile walk start at 9:30 a.m., rain or shine.
T-shirts guaranteed to all Early Bird registrants. Prizes awarded to overall top male/female finishers and top finishers in age groups. The race course is a paved surface.
Also happening at the Turkey Trot, Girl Scout Troop 61818 will be holding their 2nd Annual Hats/Scarves/Coats/Gloves collection. Please consider donating new or gently used items to help those in need.
