WOOLWICH TWP. — The Swedesboro Woolwich Environmental Commission (SWEC) invites you to join them on Sunday, April 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. at their Spring event to learn about the habitat enhancement project that has been dedicated to the recovery and conservation of the Eastern Bluebird.
Members of the SWEC along with the New Jersey Blue Bird Society will be on site at Tranquility Trail off of High Hill Road in Woolwich Township, with birdwatching guides and free giveaways to educate the community about our beautiful Eastern Bluebirds that nest there. In addition, this will be a community clean up event, and is open to clubs and students to earn community service hours.
The SWEC was a recipient of the 2019 ANJEC Open Space Stewardship Grant and welcomes the community to explore the 1.6 mile hiking trail featuring 8 blue bird houses throughout the 180 acres of grassy meadows and open fields.
