SWEDESBORO — Mayor Tom Fromm, Swedesboro Council and the Economic Development Committee are remaining hopeful by moving forward with their summer events
Please note that if the state is not ready to open, the Borough is prepared with a Game Plan B for our community, by moving the events into the fall.
Once again, on the third Wednesday night of June, July and August, the Borough will be hosting Dancing in the Street. The bands will be listed next month. The evening starts at 7 p.m. with a children’s program and the main event starts at 8 p.m.
Food Truck Thursday will be held on the fourth Thursday of June, July and August at the Swedesboro Auction Park on Locke Avenue. This is a great time to get out of the kitchen and socialize with your friends and neighbors. The trucks will be ready to start serving by 5 p.m.
Community Shredding events are planned for May, June, September and November in Swedesboro and Woolwich. Originally an April event was planned for Swedesboro but due to the pandemic it has been moved to May 30.
Swedesboro will be hosting Movie in the Park on Wednesday July 8 at the Swedesboro Auction Park. This year the movie will be Abominable. There will be plenty of activities for the children prior to the start of the movie and photo ops.
