The Gloucester County Department of Health is preparing to provide county residents with no cost flu shots beginning Saturday, Oct. 10
This year, drive-thru clinics have been scheduled to accommodate those that have difficulty walking or standing in lines as well as a measure to promote social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Clinics are scheduled for weekends and during evening hours, with special clinics just for daycare and pre-school aged children and their families. If you are attending an in-person flu clinic, please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
This year’s quadrivalent seasonal flu vaccine contains the following four viruses:
* A/Guangdong-Maonan/SWL1536/2019 (H1N1) pdm09-like virus (updated)
* A/Hong Kong/2671/2019 (H3N2)-like virus (updated)

I certainly would like to see one or two clinics in the Deptford/Westville area.
Unfortunatley they only hold them in county facilities.
It would be nice if they gave the senior dose at the drive-thru locations.
They don’t? That doesn’t seem logical.
