St. Peter’s Sponsors Contactless Food Drive

CLARKSBORO — On Saturday, Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Kings Highway in Clarksboro will host a Contactless Food Drive in support of the Blessing Store, hosted by the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Clarksboro.

As the pandemic rages on and more and more people find themselves out of work, food insufficiency becomes even more of an issue in our community. While we may look around us and see large properties with magnificent homes, we have no idea of what struggles may be happening behind those front doors.

We are asking you to come out and support our friends and neighbors, to give with love during this Valentine’s Day weekend. Perhaps the money that you would have normally spent on a lovely Valentine dinner at a local restaurant can be spent on groceries that will feed a family for a few days or a few weeks.

The Food Drive is completely contactless. Please drive into St. Peter’s parking lot and a masked volunteer will gladly remove your donation from your back seat or trunk. All non-perishable food donations are welcome.

For any additional information, please call St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 856-433-4116.
