Feb. 2: Officers responded to Mario’s Towing on Cedar Swamp Road for a Theft report. It was reported that someone removed the hinge from the back window of the vehicle and stole $200 from the console. No evidence was located on the vehicle that indicated force to enter the vehicle.
Feb. 3: Officers responded to Banneton Bakery on Pedricktown Road for a Fraud report. It was reported that someone attempted to withdrawal money from a bank account using fraudulent Banneton Bakery checks for $24,000 and $16,000.
Feb. 11: Officers responded to a Bridgeport residence for a Theft report. It was reported that the resident had someone do work inside the residence, and this person is suspected of stealing a check, forging the victim’s name, and cashing it for $1900 at an out of state bank. This incident is still being investigated.
Feb. 17: Officers responded to Omega Engineering on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that on Feb. 15, someone entered the property and stole a snowblower worth approximately $1,000.
Feb. 17: Officers responded to a Bridgeport residence for a Theft of a motor vehicle report. It was reported that upon the owner’s return, the vehicle was missing from the property. The vehicle, a 2007 black Dodge Caliber, valued at $4,000, was entered NCIC.
Feb. 23: Officers responded to Wawa on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect walked around the store placing items in a bag. When approached, the suspect became confrontational and left the store with the items. The stolen items were valued at $20.
