DEPTFORD — This year H.E.L.P. Inc. – The Historical and Educational Lodge-Hall Preservatory is partnering with The Gloucester County NAACP, and The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, in hosting a Juneteenth event on Saturday, June 19 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fasola Park, 12 Sycamore Lane, Deptford.
This event promises to have something for all ages: food and vendors, entertainment, children’s activities, giveaways, and a softball game between The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and an All-Star team comprised of members of the other sponsoring organizations.
H.E.L.P Inc. also confirms that next year’s Juneteenth event will be held at a location in Woolwich Township.
