SWEDESBORO — Saint Francis Council of the Knights of Columbus – Swedesboro wishes to offer to all our gratitude to the following:
They wish to thank all the residences of Logan, Swedesboro, and Woolwich for their contributions to their annual “Mentally Challenged Drive.” With the money you donated, they are able to support schools and organizations that provide education and training for the developmentally disabled and mentally challenged.
From the support, they were able to raise $4,671.00. One hundred percent of this money will be going to Special Olympics of New Jersey and Saint John of God Community Services in Westville, NJ.
In addition, most sincere thanks are extended to the following businesses who helped in the drive. Special thanks go to JB Liquors in Woolwich, the Swedesboro Diner, and the Heritage Dairy Stores in Logan and Swedesboro. These businesses have always been supportive of the community and deserve a special thanks.
Also, thank you goes to Gloucester County and the Woolwich Police Department for allowing us to solicit on Swedesboro-Paulsboro Road and Kings Highway.
And finally, thanks to Saint Clare of Assisi Parish for assisting us in our drive.
The Council would like to thank you again everyone and say God Bless You.
