SWEDESBORO — Swedesboro/Woolwich Little League is collecting Clothing and Household goods to raise money for the benefit of the Little League. Bargain Thrift Center will donate to the Little League based on the amount collected.
Items will be collected every Saturday through April 30 from 8 to10 a.m. at Locke Avenue Park. The semi-trailer is located by the football fields just off the walking path.
The drive’s goal is to completely fill the trailer. Enter the park from the Locke Avenue Park West entrance off High Hill Road. Semi-trailers provided by Erdner Trucking.
Items must be in tied plastic bags or sealed boxes. Items accepted include: Clothing and Shoes; Accessories (Purses, bags, backpacks, gloves, etc.); Household Linens; Soft and Hard Toys, including games (Smaller than 24x24x24), Housewares (Kitchen, Office, Garage, Décor, or Holiday. Smaller than 24x24x24).
Not Accepted items include: Furniture or mattresses; Electronics or appliances; Wet, smoke, or mildew damaged items; Books; Records
A portion of the proceeds will go to Kings Things Thrift Shop in Swedesboro due to the impact on their collections. Last year’s donation was over $200.
