This past weekend three members of Scouts BSA Troop 4G of Logan Township embarked on a quest to complete their Ordeal to gain Membership into Lenape Lodge 8, Order of the Arrow.
The Ordeal is a unique Scouting experience. It challenges a candidate physically, spiritually, and mentally. It provides a candidate time to reflect on how Brotherhood, Cheerfulness and Service will direct the candidate’s life.
It does so in many symbolic ways. Many of these ways are difficult to understand by those who have not participated in the Ordeal.
Troop 4G would like to congratulate Femy, Vivian and Deepa Alam for their outstanding accomplishment. Also pictured with the Alam Family are David White Scoutmaster and Herb Dodds Committee Chair.
Troop 4G is part of the Logan Township Scouts Family which comprises Cub Scout Pack 4, Scouts BSA Troop 4 for Boys & Girls. Through the BSA’s family of units, they serve boys and girls ages 5-17 by providing Character Development, Leadership Opportunities, Life Skills Training and a ton of fun.
