SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR MAY

ERIN GRAY

Erin Gray, daughter of David and Kelly Gray of Woolwich Township.

School Activities:  Erin is a member of the Math Club and is also President, Varsity Field Hockey Captain, Student Council Executive Board Vice President, Varsity Track & Field, Student Ambassador Executive Board Chairman of Tutoring, and member of the S.T.E.M. Academy.

Out of School Activities: Erin’s out of school activities include Krossfire Field Hockey Club, does volunteering at Cecil and Bean’s Soup Kitchen, and making patient bags for a dental office.

Honors/Awards:  National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, College Board AP Scholar with Distinction, and Superintendent’s List.

Future Plans: Erin will be attending the University of Maryland to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering in hopes to work at an aerospace company on robotics projects.

JORDYN SCOTT

Jordyn Scott, daughter of Robert and Jul-Ann Scott of Woolwich Township.

School Activities:  Jordyn is a member of Cross Country, Winter Track and Field, Spring Track and Field, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Renaissance, and Habitat for Humanity.

Out of School Activities:  Jordyn’s out of school activities include Gillian’s Wonderland Pier employee, Nordstrom Ambassador, The NJ Superior Court Judiciary Summer Internship, Nursing Home Assistant, and Swedesboro Public Library Literacy Buddy.

Honors/Awards:  Academic Honor Roll – 2018-2022, Superintendent’s List – 2020-21,

Board of Education Spotlight Student – May 2021, National Honor Society – Spring 2021- 2022,

Vice President: Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club – 2020-21, and 4 Year Varsity Winter/Spring Track and Field Athlete.

Future Plans:  Jordyn plans to attend Davidson College in North Carolina, to pursue a career in Law, majoring in Political Science.

SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR JUNE

Morgan Counsellor, daughter of Edward and Charlene Counsellor of Swedesboro.

School Activities:  Business Leadership Academy (2018-2022), Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) (2018-2022), Student Ambassador General Member (2020-2021), Habitat for Humanity (2019-2022), Student Council (2018-2022), SADD Club (2019-2022), Girls Tennis Team (2019-2022), Girls Softball Team (2018-2020), and Jazz Ensemble (2018-2022).

Out of School Activities:  Outside of school, Morgan played travel softball during her freshman and sophomore years. She also enjoys volunteering at many Swedesboro-Woolwich events, including Swedesboro-Woolwich Day, Fun Day, and the Craft Fairs. Morgan has also held jobs in the community, and she currently works at the local restaurant, Botto’s Italian Line.

Honors/Awards: National Honor Society Member (Junior and Senior Years), National Honor Society Secretary (Senior Year), Tri-M Music Honor Society Member (Junior and Senior Years), Tri-M Music Honors Society Historian (Senior Year), Principal’s List (2019, 2020), Superintendent’s List (2021), and DECA ICDC National Conference Qualifier (2022).

Future Plans: Morgan will be attending Rowan University to pursue a degree in Political Science. As of now, she hopes to go to law school after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree.

Joshua Palmucci, son of Donald and Suzanne Palmucci of Mullica Hill.

School Activities:  Varsity Wrestling, Kingsway Athletic Leadership Group Secretary, and School of Health Professions.

Out of School Activities:  Youth Wrestling Coach, Kingsway Premier Soccer, Underground Martial Arts, Go-Givers Community Service, Seagulls Wrestling Club, and Travis Manion Foundation.

Honors/Awards:  Varsity Wrestling Captain, National Honor Society, All-South Jersey Wrestling First Team, and Most-Improved Wrestler.

Future Plans: Joshua plans on studying Political Science/ Philosophy at Franklin and Marshall College, going to law school after, and starting his own sports agency firm.
