DEPTFORD – On Saturday, Nov. 12, the Semper Fidelis Detachment of the Marine Corps League, Gloucester County, will be celebrating the 247th birthday (Nov. 10) for the United States Marine Corps, with a Marine Corps Ball at Auletto’s Catering Almonesson. N.J.
This year, the ball will be open to all current, reserve, or retired Marines, and their guests, or any honorably discharged Marines and their guests, even if not a member of the Marine Corps League.
A reception and cocktail hour (cash bar) will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 7 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m. Dinner will include a full buffet, dessert, and complimentary wine. Music and dancing will be provided throughout the evening, as well as door prizes, until 11 pm.
Although a “ball”, formal wear is not required. Suits or jackets for men, and dresses for women are appropriate. The cost is $50 per person.
