SWEDESBORO — Swede Talkers Toastmasters Club enthusiastically announces a special honor bestowed upon our retired member, Barrie Dawson, as Swede Talkers Toastmaster of the Decade.
Dawson has been a dedicated member of the club for over 10 years in which he served in many officer roles and as a mentor to many of our members. Recently, Barrie and his wife, Bonnie relocated to a retirement community in Pennsylvania. The club wishes them well and thanks him for being a loyal member of the Swede Talkers Toastmasters Club.
As one celebrated member travels on to new adventures, we have opportunity to recognize the accomplishment of Vice President of Education and Former President of Swede Talkers, Lisa Aliquo, who recently achieved Distinguished Toastmaster status. We congratulate Lisa on her success.
Two new members have been welcomed, Dannie Heise and Swati Chaturvedi to Swede Talkers, who recently accomplished their first speeches called “Ice Breakers”.
Swede Talkers meetings are held on the first and third Mondays at 7:30 p.m. each month at the Woolwich Township Municipal Building located at 120 Village Drive, in Swedesboro, NJ.
