According to a press release from the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Route 322 will be closed tonight with alternating traffic just before the Route 322 and Oak Grove Road/Locke Avenue intersection as a developer project begins. In addition, the right shoulder on Route 322 is scheduled to be closed in both directions.
From 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, April 12 until 5 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, April 13, Route 322 eastbound will be closed at the intersection of Oak Grove Road/Locke Avenue. In addition, right shoulder closures will be required on Route 322 in both directions at the intersection to install construction barrier and to set up a work zone in the shoulder. Alternating traffic will be maintained on Route 322 westbound.
The work is part of a developer project that includes the installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Route 322 and Oak Grove Road/Locke Avenue, widening and realigning of the roadways, drainage system improvements, and milling and paving.
