Socrates Café: Thursdays, May 11, 18 & 25, 10:30 a.m. Join us as we pose questions and exchange our thoughts on subjects selected by the group. No formal education in philosophy is needed, just a questioning mind. Attendance is in-person or virtually.

Board and Card Games: Thursdays, May 11, 18 & 25, 1 p.m.Have a fun time playing board games. A variety of games are played each week. 

Knit & Crochet Club: Thursdays, May 11, 18 & 25, 1 p.m.Beginners are always welcome and provided with instruction along with the supplies needed to get started. Bring something you are working on or something you would like to discuss.

Quilting & Sewing Club: Tuesdays, May 9 & 23, 1 p.m. Learn to quilt or sew! Beginners and experienced quilters are welcome, and experienced quilters are free to bring their project and quilt with some new friends.

Rose Bath Soak Make and Take: Saturday, May 6, 11 a.m.We will mix together the ingredients to make a Rose Bath Soak to take and use at home. A Longwood Gardens Community Read program. Registration required as supplies are limited. 

History Book Club: Monday, May 8, 7 p.m.The History Book Club will be held the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Please stop by the circulation desk for this month’s selection.

Swedesboro Cemeteries Tour: Thursday, May 11, 2:30 p.m.Wear comfortable shoes and meet us at the GCLS Swedesboro Library, 1442 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, NJ. We will be touring the following cemeteries: Trinity Church Old and New Cemeteries, St. Joseph’s Old Cemetery, and Bethesda Cemetery. Please register.

Delicious Reads Cookbook Club: Tuesday, May 16, 6 p.m. Pick a recipe to make at home then bring it in to share! May’s theme is “Summer Side Dishes”. Bring the cookbook or a copy of your recipe to the meeting or drop it off in advance. Sign up is required.

FURever As Friends Reading Program: Tuesdays, May 16, 6:30 p.m.A group of volunteers bring their specially trained therapy dogs to the library for children to read. All ages. Registration and one-time permission slip required. 

No Cook Cooking – Fruit Truffle: Thursday, May 11, 4 p.m.Make a delicious layered desert! Ingredients include yogurt, chocolate spread, graham crackers, raspberries, whipped cream, and marshmallows. Ages 9-12. Registration required. 

Homeschool Steam Club: Monday, May 15, 2 p.m.Fun experiments, crafts, and activities exploring STEAM concepts. Ages 6 to 8. Please register.
