SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR MAY
Aadi Jain, son of Sanjeev and ShaifaliJain of Woolwich Township.
School Activities: STEM Academy and boys’ varsity golf. His clubs include Computer Science, American Sign Language, Mathematics, and Asian Cultures.
Out-of-School Activities: Golf competitions and Boy Scouts.
Honors/Awards: Eagle Scout, National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, and Seal of Biliteracy.
Future Plans: Aadi will be attending Lehigh University for a bioengineering degree. Then he will either pursue a master’s degree or find a career in biotechnology.
Cheuk Ying Yeung, daughter of Tao Yeung and Cho Yu Woo of Clarksboro.
School Activities: Marching Band, Girls Swim Team, Multicultural Assembly, Foreign Language Club, Model Congress, Bio Olympic Club, Bio Club, Cultures Club, and Asian Cultures Club.
Out-of-School Activities: Cheuk is a project coordinator for Power Changes Lives Inc.
Honors/Awards: National Honor Society, NJ Seal of Biliteracy Mandarin (Traditional) Recipient, 2023 USA Biolympiad Open Exam Honorable Mention Certificate, Model Congress Outstanding Delegates, 2023 Most Dedicated Swimmer Award, Superintendent’s List, Head of the Class Award, and Student of the Month for December 2021.
Future Plans: After Cheuk graduates from Kingsway, she would like to pursue a degree in biological science. Her long-term career goal is to become an occupational therapist, as Cheuk has always loved interacting with people and helping them with their needs. In addition, she would love to continue to study languages so that she can act as an interpreter for patients who do not speak English. By doing so, they could receive treatment without barriers. Cheuk is committed to working hard in school and continuing to seek opportunities to make her goals a reality.

School Activities: STEM Academy and boys varsity golf. His clubs include Computer Science, American Sign Language, Mathematics, and Asian Cultures.
Out-of-School Activities: Member of Boy Scouts.
Honors/Awards: National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, Rural and Small Town Recognition Award, Eagle Scout, Second Team All Star (boys golf, Spring 2021), First Team All-Conference (boys golf, Spring 2022), and New Jersey State Seal of Biliteracy (French).
Future Plans: Anant will be majoring in Biochemistry at Villanova University. He plans to use his education to conduct groundbreaking health research and living in an ultramodern high-rise apartment.
Evelyn Kornegay, daughter of Douglass and Stephanie Kornegay of Woolwich Township.
School Activities: Spring Track and Field, Swim, Color Guard (outdoor and indoor), SIA, and Yearbook.
Out-of-School Activities: Works as a lifeguard.
Honors/Awards: Swim Captain, National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, Seal of Biliteracy, National Merit Award, SIA President, and Yearbook Editor.
Future Plans: Evelyn will be attending Thomas Jefferson University and majoring in Biochemistry on a Pre-Med track.
