LOGAN TWP. — Join us for one last summer fling before school starts. Nerd Fest will be returning to the Holiday Inn in Swedesboro, NJ on Sunday, Aug. 27.
It promises to be a fun filled day for all with special guests, artists, cosplay, writers/creators, vendors, and gaming. Vendors will be offering up Comic Books, Toys, Funko Pops, Lego, Retro, Manga, Anime, Non-Sport Trading Cards, Pokémon, art, unique crafts, collectibles and much more.
There like be plenty of variety so that there is something for everyone of all ages.
There will be gaming with video games for attendees to enjoy and cosplay groups for some great photo opportunities. There will be a cosplay contest at 3 p.m. so come out dressed as your favorite superhero, villain, or comic character. There will be some super prizes for the winners. There will be an adult division and a kids’ division.
There will also be a professional photographer on hand for cosplayers wishing to have photos taken and families as well for memories of the Fest.
The show hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $10. Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult. Tickets can also be purchased through Eventbrite.
The Holiday Inn in Swedesboro is located at 1 Pureland Drive, Logan Township.
