CLAYTON — The Gloucester County Animal Shelter will be holding a “Microchip Manie” event on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Animal Shelter, 1200 North Delsea Drive, Clayton. This is one of the best ways to help ensure the swift, safe return of your cat or dog if it gets loose.
The fee is $30 and can be paid by cash, debit, or credit card.
The shelter asks that dogs not be on retractable leashes and strongly discourages body harnesses for their event.
