PICKLE BALL COURTS COMING TO WOOLWICH

WOOLWICH TWP.  – Pickleball enthusiasts will soon be able to play ball on courts located next to the Municipal Building at 120 Village Green Drive.

The courts will be located to the right of the building between the solar panels and the community garden. This location will also be the start of a new Veterans Park.

There is no charge to play, according to Woolwich Township Mayor Craig Frederick, because it is being paid for by a developer.

The future Veterans Park expansion ideas include playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, a dog park, walking paths, and an event/lawn amphitheater.

  1. Looking forward to them. I’m a 4.0 player, living here in Swedesboro and tired of driving 30 to 45 minutes to play at Atkinson, Fasola, Cherry Hill and Moorestown. I see the courts are 90% complete. Any exact ETA ?
    Thanks
