Oct. 5: Officers responded to Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect left the store with approx. $240 in her shopping cart without paying. After investigating, Officers arrested the 53-year-old Logan Township woman and charged her with Shoplifting. She was processed and released on a summons with a future court date.

Oct. 8: Officers responded to Rite Aid on Village Center Drive for an attempted Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect filled a bag with approx. $3,000 worth of cosmetics, but when the activity was observed, the suspect fled the store, leaving the items behind.

Oct. 9: Officers responded to U-Haul on Heron Drive for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. It was reported that the suspect entered the property the previous evening and stole a U-Haul box truck valued at $35,000. The vehicle was entered NCIC as stolen. The vehicle was recovered on Oct. 10 in Union Twp, NJ and removed from NCIC.

Oct. 9: Officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle behind Leslie Pools on Commodore Drive. Upon investigating, it was determined that the driver was under the influence. As a result, the 40-year-old Claymont, DE man was arrested and charged with driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a summons to a third party with a future court date.

Oct. 11: Officers responded to Tractor Supply on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect entered the store, put on a $170 Carhartt jacket and left the store without paying.

Oct. 11: Officers responded to Tractor Supply on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect took a $280 NOCO jump starter and left without paying.

Oct. 15: Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on I-295. As Officers attempted this stop, the vehicle attempted to flee from this stop at a high rate of speed. Officers were able to identify the driver and terminated the pursuit pursuant to the Attorney General Guidelines. As a result, Officers charged the driver, a 32-year-old Carney’s Point man, with Eluding. Service on this complaint is pending.

Oct. 19: Officers responded to Rite Aid on Village Center Drive for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect took approximately $100 worth of cosmetics and left the store without paying.

Oct. 21: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on I-295. While conducting the stop, it was learned the driver was providing false information as to his identity. The driver then fled the stop at a high rate of speed. Following Attorney General Guidelines, Officers terminated the pursuit. As a result of the stop, Officers charged the 48-year-old Philadelphia man with Hindering Apprehension and Eluding. Service on this complaint is pending.

Oct. 23: Officers responded to Miller Trucking on Repaupo Station Road for a Theft report. It was reported that two vehicles were stolen from their lot. Both vehicles are valued at approx. $45,000 each and are entered NCIC as stolen.

Oct. 23: Officers responded to Wawa on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that a driver received $42 worth of gas and left without paying.

Oct. 26: Officers responded to Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect left with approximately $500 worth of groceries. Officers were able to identify the suspect as a 33-year-old Penns Grove woman. On Oct.27, the suspect came back to Acme, and before she could enter the store, Officers placed the suspect under arrest for Shoplifting and for an outstanding $1,500 warrant. The suspect was processed and released on a summons for Shoplifting and released on her warrant, both with future court dates.

Oct. 27: Officers responded to Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect placed approximately $143 worth of items in reusable bags and left the store without paying. Officers were able to identify the suspect as a 53-year-old Williamstown woman and charged her with Shoplifting. She was processed on Oct. 31 and released on a summons with a future court date.

Oct. 29: Officers responded to Tractor Supply on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It

was reported that the suspect entered the store and took a Carhartt jacket valued at approx. $120

and left the store.

Oct. 31: Officers responded to Center Square Road for a report of an attempted Luring. It was

reported that a white pickup truck with Florida registration was attempting to lure two females

into the vehicle. The truck was unable to be located.
