WOOLWICH TWP. — The Swedesboro-Woolwich Parks & Recreation Committee is winding down the year. We wish all of you a happy and healthy holiday season.
Many thanks to the Maugeri and Sizemore families for helping the committee with their float for Swedesboro Holiday Parade recently. In addition, special thanks to all of you that supported our programs by participating in the Fruit Fundraiser. Any feedback on this fundraiser is appreciated. HOLIDAY MOVIE: All are welcome to join us on Friday, Dec. 15 for our Annual Holiday Movie Night at the Margaret C. Clifford School. This year we will be showing “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas” with Jim Carrey. Please note the movie is rated PG.
Water and popcorn will be provided. Bring a blanket if you want to sit on the floor. All children must be accompanied by one parent.
We will have a Whoville backdrop available for taking family photos. Families are invited to come for the movie, photos or both. The doors open at 6:15 p.m. The movie starts at 7 p.m.
BOWLING: Swedesboro Woolwich Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a Family Bowling Party on Thursday, Dec. 28 at the Wood Lanes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission fee is $15 per person and includes pizza, soda, bowling and shoe rental. Please arrive by 10:45 a.m. All children must be accompanied by one parent.

76ERS: The Swedesboro Woolwich Parks and Recreation is selling tickets to Swedesboro Woolwich Night at the 76ers on Monday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center. The 76ers will be playing the San Antonio Spurs.

SUMMER CAMP: Calling all summer camps! We are having our Summer Camp Connection Night for Parents on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Woolwich Township Municipal Building. Any company or organization can attend, and the cost per space is $20.
You must bring your own table. For questions, please contact Jackie Williams at jwilliams011@comcast.net. The vendor application is posted on the Parks and Rec page of the Woolwich Township website.
PARENT CHILD EVENT DATES: Corrected dates: The Daddy Daughter Dance will be held on March 2, 2024 and the Mother Son Bingo Party will be held on March 22, 2024.
BAKING CONTEST: New for 2024, we will also be hosting a baking contest! More details to come!
