LOGAN TWP. – At their Jan. 6 meeting, the Logan Township Council approved the application, permit fee and performance bond of Three Eagles Nest LLC for the construction of two buildings with 729,449 total square feet of warehouse/distribution, light industrial/office space to be located between Route 322, Jennie Lane, and Stone Meeting House Roads.
These buildings will be part of the new three building Commodore Business Center North II located there. The application was approved for two of those buildings.
Building 1 will have 334,800 square feet with 68 loading docs and 275 parking spaces, 92 trailer spaces, and 67 future trailer parking spaces. Building 3 will be 223,098 square feet with 36 loading docks, 128 parking spots, and 34 tractor trailer parking spaces.
The Logan Township Planning Board approval of the plans was given on Sept. 14, 2023.
Also at that meeting, recognition was given to both active and incoming members of local law enforcement, as well as members of public safety.
Nicolas Frank was sworn in as an eight-class patrol officer, transitioning from Washington Township. The acknowledgment of public safety continued with the swearing-in of William Leone and Colin Garraway as 11th-class patrol officers for the Logan Township Police Department. Both officers were graduates of Kingsway High School.
Promotions were also granted to active Logan Township police officers Payton Clements and Ryan Parry for commendable service, with both Clements and Parry now holding the title of 10th Class in the Logan Township Police Department. Along with that, the reappointment of Joseph B. Tull, Sr. as Fire Sub-Code Official was also recognized.
The township also approved an ordinance covering athletic field fees and charges for use of the township athletic field. A request for athletic field use for Dr. Schars employee flag football game was also approved.
The racing license for Bridgeport Motorsports Park’s, also known as Bridgeport Speedway, was renewed for the 2024 racing season.
