Residents of Swedesboro and Woolwich are invited to the 2024 Daddy Daughter Dances. The dances will be held on Saturday, March 2at the Bridgeport Fire Hall. The K thru 3 grade dance is from 4 to 6 p.m. The 4 through 6 grade dance is from 7 to 9 p.m.
All parental/guardian figures are welcome. Tickets are almost sold out. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Tickets will be sold on www.ticketleap.com.

EGG SCRAMBLE
The Swedesboro-Woolwich Annual Egg Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This free event will be held at Locke Ave Park, Field B, behind the playground.
There will be various fun activities for the children. Please note that this event is for children aged 8 and younger.
Each child will be able to pick up 10 eggs. We have to limit this number to accommodate all the children.
The Easter Bunny will be there posing for pictures offered by Perfect Day Photography (additional cost, but less than the mall!). Don’t miss this fun family event sponsored by the Swedesboro-Woolwich Parks & Recreation and Fellowship Bible Church.
There will be a special golden egg in each of the first four scrambles to win a chocolate bunny donated by Damask Candies located at 2255 US Route 322 in Swedesboro.
MOTHER/SON MIXER
Another special event is coming. There will be a Mother & Son Mixer on Friday, March 22, at General Harker School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Pizza and ice cream will be provided. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

LITTLE LEAGUE
Join us for a salute to Little League with a pre-opening day movie night on Friday, April 5 at the Walter Hill School Gym at 7 p.m. We will be showing “The Sandlot”. Please note the movie is rated PG and is recommended for ages 10 and older.
Water and popcorn will be provided. Bring a blanket if you want to sit on the floor. This is a free event sponsored by Swedesboro-Woolwich Little League.
CORNHOLE TOURNEY

FAMILY FUN DAY
Save the date for Family Fun Day. The event will be held Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is for families with young children.
There will rides and bounce houses, food vendors and non-food vendors. Grandpop Bubbles is scheduled to make massive bubbles from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Children will also be invited to make bubbles! Please check out Grandpop Bubbles on Facebook. Please email Shannon Kilpatrick, SW Parks & Rec Coordinator, at skilpatrick@woolwichtwp.org by March 30 if your group would like to perform or if you can volunteer a couple hours.
We need 10 volunteers to help with Grandpop Bubbles. This is a fun way to earn service hours.
