He is a 1976 graduate of Rowan University with a B.A. in Psychology and attended Wesley Theological Seminary where he obtained a Master of Divinity degree in 1979 and Doctor of Ministry degree in 1994.
Pastor Bill recently moved back to his childhood farm in Mullica Hill. After 38 years of marriage to his wife Dawn, they have two sons, Wil (Ashley), and Lou (Christa), and seven grandchildren; Rosie, Sage, Nico, Aria, Tre, Wes and Myrna.
Shortly after announcing his retirement just earlier this year, he announced he would be coming out of retirement, feeling called to continue as pastor at Historic St. George’s United Methodist Church in Philadelphia, PA.
“As pastor of Historic St. George’s, I love the long and vital history which has happened here. I look forward to HSG continuing to make history by reaching out to the local community as well as to the World. I’m excited to be the pastor here and look forward to what God is calling us to do in the days ahead.”
Following the service, there will be refreshments, historical documents to view and a tour of the grounds of Old Stone.
