MARCH 2: Officers were dispatched to a cardiac arrest in Woolwich Township. Upon the officers’ arrival, they quickly placed the victim on their back and started life-saving measures. Officers and EMS were able to get the patient breathing again on their own. The patient was turned over to EMS and medics.

MARCH 4: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Oldman’s Creek Road in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. The driver performed Standard Field Sobriety Tests and, at the conclusion, was transported back to headquarters, processed, and then released with a pending court date.

MARCH 4: Officers were dispatched to Swedesboro for the report of a dispute. Upon the officers’ arrival, they attempted to calm the individual down. While attempting to de-escalate the situation, the individual assaulted an officer. At this time, the individual was arrested and charged accordingly. The suspect was released with a pending court date.

MARCH 5: Officers were contacted by the Millville Police Department regarding a stolen motor vehicle from Swedesboro. They advised they had located the vehicle and the suspect operating it. The suspect was arrested and turned over to Woolwich Police. They were charged and lodged in the Salem County Jail with a pending court date.

MARCH 7: Officers were dispatched to ShopRite for the report of a shoplifting. Upon their arrival, they located the suspect with several stolen items. Officers arrested the individual and transported them to headquarters for criminal charges. They were processed and released with a pending court date and time.

MARCH 7: Officers were dispatched to ShopRite for the report of a shoplifting. Upon their arrival, they were able to observe video footage of the theft. With the assistance of loss prevention, officers were able to identify the suspects. Officers charged them with shoplifting on a summons with a pending court date.

MARCH 8: Officers were dispatched to Longleaf Drive in Woolwich Township for the report of a package theft. Officers and detectives are working on obtaining video surveillance. This is the second occurrence within 24 hours of package thefts.

MARCH 9: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Auburn Road and Center Square Road in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. The driver performed Standard Field Sobriety Tests and, at the conclusion, was transported back to headquarters, processed, and then released with a pending court date.

MARCH 10: Officers were dispatched to the Wawa in Woolwich Township for the report of a theft. Upon their arrival, they were able to watch surveillance and identify the four juveniles responsible. The juveniles’ parents were contacted and advised of the incident. All stolen items were returned to the Wawa, and the juveniles were banned from returning.

MARCH 10: Officers were dispatched to ShopRite in Woolwich for the report of shoplifting. Upon the officers’ arrival, they made contact with the accused. The accused paid for the item and was banned from the property.

MARCH 14: Officers were dispatched to RT 322 for the report of a dispute. Upon the officers’ arrival, they located a known individual who was restricted from the area. As a result, they were arrested and transported to headquarters for charges. The individual was processed, charged, and released with a pending court date.

MARCH 14: Officers were dispatched to Oldman’s Creek Road in Woolwich Township for the report of a stolen motor vehicle. Officers entered the vehicle as stolen and turned the investigation over to detectives.

MARCH 17: Officers were dispatched to RT 45 in South Harrison Township for the report of a dispute. Upon the officers’ arrival, it was determined that the suspect had struck the victim prior to their arrival. The suspect was arrested and transported to headquarters. The suspect was charged and released with a pending court date and time.

MARCH 18: Officers were dispatched to Heritages in Swedesboro for the report of shoplifting. Upon the officers’ arrival, they made contact with the accused. The accused paid for the item and was banned from the property.

MARCH 26: Officers received a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle was later located in Newark, NJ. Officers were able to recover the vehicle. Detectives are working on identifying the suspect.

MARCH 28: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Franklinville Road and Tomlin Station Road in South Harrison Township. During the stop, officers located an active warrant for the driver. The driver was transported back to headquarters, processed, and then released with a pending court date.

MARCH 29: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Rt 322 and Stone Meeting House Road in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers located an active warrant for the driver. The driver was transported back to headquarters, processed, and then released with a pending court date.

MARCH 29: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Church Street. During the stop, officers discovered the registration was fictitious. Officers removed the registration and parked the vehicle until it is registered and insured.
