SOUTH HARRISON TO RECEIVE A STATE LOCAL BRIDGES GRANT

The Murphy Administration today announced that the South Harrison Township Bridge on Monroeville Road over Oldmans Creek will receive $216,213 as part of a 38 Local Bridges Fund grant totaling $47.3 million. This money is to help counties maintain local bridges in a state of good repair.

Other county bridges receiving grant money include Clayton Borough Bridge, West Clayton Avenue over the Branch of West Clayton Run $340,000, Newfield Borough Bridge on Rosemont Avenue over Burnt Mill Branch $620,000, and Woodbury City on East Barber Avenue over Hester’s Branch $100,000.00
