The landscape in both Woolwich and Swedesboro have recently changed. The Nike Base on Paulsboro Road in Woolwich is being dismantled and leveled to make way for a new warehouse.
The 33 plus-acre Nike Missile Site began operation in 1957. The Nike Base housed Ajax missiles during the Cold War and was decommissioned and abandoned in 1974.
In Swedesboro, the Teledyne building was taken down to make way for a residential/commercial complex. Teledyne was visible behind the parking lot on Kings Highway next to Red Hen. Parking is being moved to Second Street where the Borough bought two houses to raise for the lots.

Okay, how do I get to see “more pictures” of the Nike Base ?
The statement was meant for more Teledyn photographs. I apologize for any misunderstanding. However, if you Google the Swedesboro Nike Base, there are several different pictures.
