Medicare with Confidence: Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. Turning 65 or want to learn more about Medicare? This educational seminar will educate you on Medicare basics, important terminology, enrollment periods, plan types available and cost assistance. Medicare is not a one size fits all. You will also learn about the changes to Medicare in 2025 due to the Inflation Reduction Act. Talk Saves Lives – An Introduction to Suicide Prevention: Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. Talk Saves Lives is an educational program that provides participants with a clear understanding of this leading cause of death, including the most up-to-date research on suicide prevention, and what can be done in communities to save lives. Participants will learn common risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide, and how to keep themselves and others safe.
