LOGAN TWP. – On Sept. 12, a book signing will be held at Logan Library between 6 and 8 p.m. for a Logan Township resident’s book., “Born in Adultery: The Secret Daughter’s Memoir”. This will be a unique opportunity for readers, neighbors, and former classmates to meet the author, Heather James Miller.
Miller is a long-time resident of Logan Township and a proud graduate of Logan Elementary and Kingsway Regional High School. Her memoir, “Born in Adultery, The Secret Daughter’s Memoir” is a powerful and deeply personal account of my life as a secret child. It chronicles my journey of overcoming the pain and stigma of being a child born into adultery,” she said.
“With raw emotion and profound insight, I share how I navigated the complexities of my identity, and the struggle to find my place in a world that often rejected the existence of ‘the other child’.
Miller said that growing up in her community played a major role in helping her feel loved and accepted, providing the foundation she needed to embrace her story and heal.
Since its release, the memoir has resonated with readers, offering a message of resilience, self-discovery, and healing. Copies of “Born in Adultery: The Secret Daughter’s Memoir” will be available for purchase at the book signing.
Miller has recently completed filming in Logan Township, and Philadelphia for a television show set to premiere on OWN TV in Fall 2024.
