CLARKSBORO — Many of you know St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Clarksboro for our numerous outreach efforts, most especially, St. Peter’s Community Pantry. However, our reputation for hosting great, fun events is legend too.
The first event of the Fall 2024 season will be a Hoagie Sale on Saturday, Sept. 7.
That event will be followed quickly by our 4th Annual Basket Extravaganza. This year’s event will take place on Friday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. The Extravaganza presents a selection of 90 plus baskets, handmade quilts, wooden items, an American Girl doll wardrobe and more.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online through Zeffy, at the church office on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and at the door. Your ticket includes admission, a door prize ticket, a beverage, snack and one sheet of basket tickets.
Other basket tickets are sold at $10 a sheet, and $5 each for our Super Prize tickets. There will also be a 50/50.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. to provide ample time to peruse the baskets and make your ticket selections. Tickets will be drawn beginning at 7 p.m.
There will be an Extravaganza Preview on Friday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Tickets can be purchased at that time. You need not be present to win.
Now that you are marking your calendar, please add Nov. 23 as the date for our famous Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner. This event has been a St. Peter’s classic for many, many years and continues to draw crowds. More information will be available as we get closer to the date.
All of St. Peter’s events help to provide financial support to St. Peter’s Community Pantry serving food insecure members of our Gloucester County Community.
We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at these great St. Peter’s events.
