WOOLWICH TWP. – At the Dec. 16 meeting, the township committee approved pricing for the leasing of additional trash and recycling bins for township residents. Currently one trash and one recycling bin are given to residents.
Anyone requesting additional trash or recycling bins will be charged $95. The fee will be renewed on the anniversary of the request. There will be a $10 late fee imposed 30 days after the anniversary. If not paid, the township will remove the leased containers.
Additional vegetation containers will be $40 with the same renewal and late fees imposed.
For containers needing repair, residents must contact the township. If the township deems that they are beyond repair, the resident will be charged to replace the bin.
You must also have all property taxes current to be eligible for the additional bins.
