CLARKSBORO — Frigid temperatures and snow on the ground cannot stop the activities at St. Peter’s in Clarksboro.
Pantry
The St. Peter’s Community Pantry is in full swing with Food Drives on the first Saturday of the month and distribution to folks in need on the third Saturday. The new outdoor walk-in freezer has been built, thanks to the Episcopal Community Services and Rural Development Corporation, and is awaiting food for our clients.
We now have more room for food “rescue” and are always looking for new partners who are interested in donating.
During its distribution in January, 158 families received approximately 60 pounds of groceries each. We are serving more and more families every month, which means that we our shelves are bare after each distribution.
The Pantry accepts donation 24/7 by way of a large container which sits just outside the Pantry doors. We need your help in keeping this initiative growing and providing food to our Gloucester County neighbors. Please consider how you can help.
