LOGAN TWP. — Katie Nicotra of Logan Township has been recognized as one of the Philadelphia Eagles All Pro Teachers for the 2024 season. This prestigious honor highlights her dedication and contributions to education, particularly in her role at Woodstown High School.

Nicotra, who grew up in East Greenwich and is an alumna of Kingsway High School, has made significant strides in her teaching career. As the founder of the 18-21 Transition Program at Woodstown High School, she has been instrumental in providing life and job skills training for students with disabilities. This program has been pivotal in helping students transition smoothly into adulthood, equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive.

In recognition of her outstanding work, Nicotra was awarded $2,000 for her classroom, enhancing the resources available to her students. Additionally, she received tickets to a Philadelphia Eagles game and was honored with an on-field announcement during the game, celebrating her achievements in front of thousands of fans.
