EAST GREENWICH TW. – On March 6, East Greenwich Mayor Jim Philbin, Police Chief Matthew Brenner and Fire Chief Gerald Hall joined Prologis, a leader in logistics real estate, to kick off leasing for a 574,480-square-foot logistics facility centrally located at 198 Democrat Road in East Greenwich.
The facility is expected to help the region’s supply chains, and potential tenants are expected to generate high-quality jobs, joining the ranks of other vital employers in the area.
Built to cater to a range of businesses with various needs, the spacious new hub offers 40-foot clear heights and includes LED motion-sensor lighting, in addition to 5,000 square feet of office.
“This development is a testament to the power of collaboration between our community and Prologis,” said Mayor Jim Philbin. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact this investment will have on East Greenwich’s economy.”
“We are thrilled to celebrate the completion of this modern, sustainable logistics facility with the East Greenwich community,” said Mike Sacro, SVP and market officer at Prologis. “Facilities like this one are critical to communities, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods for businesses and residents, supporting the local economy and creating new jobs.”
