BRIDGEPORT – The Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Company is celebrating their 125th anniversary on Sept. 27 with a parade and family fun.
The parade will start at noon on Island Road, then proceed to Main Street and end at the Bridgeport Fire House Main Street Station at 4 Steelman Avenue.
More than 75 emergency service apparatus from over 40 different organizations throughout South Jersey and East Pennsylvania will participate. High school bands, local sports teams, honor guard and others will perform in the parade.
Following the parade, there will be an Open House at the fire department station. There will be food and beverages to purchase along with 125th Memorabilia.
The fun will end at 5 p.m.
