King’s Things Thanksgiving & Christmas Assistance Program Applications

SWEDESBORO — King’s Things Christian Thrift & Furniture Stores, Food Pantry & Benevolence Fund, located at 1402 Kings Highway, Swedesboro has opened its application process for its annual Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner giveaway and Christmas Food & Gift Assistance Program for 2025.

The Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner program provides a frozen turkey and various Thanksgiving dinner food products on the Saturday proceeding Thanksgiving, Saturday, Nov. 22 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Swedesboro.

The Christmas Food & Gift Assistance Program occurs on Saturday, Dec. 20 and items will be delivered to client’s homes.  This program includes food items and one clothing item and one gift for each child under 18 in the home.

Applications can be picked up in the Thrift Store at any time.  Applications must be received back into King’s Things no later than Friday, Nov. 14 to be considered. You may also ask questions and/or receive an application by email by contacting Dan@KingsThings08085.org.

Applications are open to those that demonstrate need in the Kingsway High School sending districts.

King’s Things is a non-profit charity 501(3)c organization, founded in 1983 by the five churches of Swedesboro, King’s Things continues to serve those in need in our community with food, clothing and emergency financial needs through its Thrift & Furniture Stores, Food Pantry & Benevolence Fund.  King’s Things is completely volunteer run, and all proceeds are used to help those in our community.

  1. Hi, I am a community health worker, and I have a client who needs a Thanksgiving food box. Out of all my patients, she is the only one who asked for a food box and said thank you for all your hard work and everything you do for me and the community you serve. An i wish i had the extra money myself, being a single mom, and i don’t get any help, but she is such a kind, caring person

    1. Please fill out the application from Kings’s Things. There are other area pantries. In fact, the No
      vember issue will have an entire feature on the ones in the area. There are several churches that will have food for the holidays. The website will be updated on Nov. 6.
