BBQ Dinner Nov. 9 to benefit Trinity “Old Swedes”

WOOLWICH TWP. — Trinity “Old Swedes” Historic Preservation Foundation’s annual BBQ dinner will be held at Rode’s Barn located on 533 Kings Highway in Woolwich Township from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 9.

The dinner includes BBQ chicken, pulled pork, coleslaw, mac and cheese, cornbread, homemade desserts, tea, coffee and domestic beer for just $35 per person. Diners can eat-in or take-out.

Tickets for the BBQ dinner can be purchased in advance online trinityswedesboro.org or at the door until meals are sold out.

Trinity Church was founded as a Swedish Lutheran parish in 1703 with the current structure being completed in 1784 when the congregation chose to affiliate with the Episcopal Church of America.

Your generosity enables the Trinity Foundation to continue the work of restoring and maintaining this cherished landmark and educating the public as to its historic importance through interpretive signs placed in Trinity Square.
