Messy Church Comes to St. Peter’s in Clarksboro

CLARKSBORO — St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 304 Kings Highway in Clarksboro invites you to join us in our inaugural “Messy Church Day”, on Sunday, Nov. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m.

What is “Messy Church?” It is an all age worship experience that explores God’s love in an accessible way. At Messy Church, today’s busy households of all shapes and sizes are invited into our welcoming space to experience faith in a new way.

Messy Church is free, faith and fun filled. All ages gather in activities, crafts, games, and songs that bring a Bible story to life. Messy Church is also food; we will end the evening enjoying a simple meal together, getting to know each other, sharing stories of our real and messy lives.

Messy Church is an adult-child, one on one experience to enjoy together. Messy Church is free to everyone. Every adult is welcome with a child, whether as a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, or family friend.

You are invited to be a part of Messy Church whether you are single or partnered, young or old, have doubts or uncertainties or are filled with joy about faith. Messy Church is not a recruiting tool, an indoctrination, or an attempt to draw you from your own church.

Messy Church is just a fun filled afternoon with a special child in your life with no expectations except to come and enjoy your time together.

Please come and share the journey with us. You can register for Messy Church by calling the church office at 856-423-4116 or just showing up on Nov. 16. We’re looking forward to getting “messy” with you.
