Senior Game Days
East Greenwich Seniors are meeting for some social time and playing games. They have been playing a large variety of games, including card games, board games, tile games, and other standards.
You are welcome to bring a game and see who would like to play it with you or come join in games with others. Come out to meet new friends or reacquaint yourself with someone from the past at this casual friendly get-together.
These Game Days are being held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month from 1:30 to 4 p.m. December 11 is the only meeting this month. Location is at the Evangelical United Methodist Church at 14 W. Cohawkin Road in Clarksboro. There is an elevator available, and the church encourages it to be used as there are steps down to the game room.
Coffee Meet-ups
We will be meeting up at the Death of the Fox on the third Tuesday of every month. Mark your calendars to come on Dec. 16. Come out, bring a friend and visit with member of our senior population at the Death of the Fox Brewing Company from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Drop in for a cup of their wide array of gourmet coffee, espresso, tea, and Italian soda. They also have hot chocolate. This is just a casual get-together to meet old and new friends from our community.
Senior Men’s Breakfast
The East Greenwich Senior Men’s Breakfast Club meets on the second Thursday of the month at 9 a.m. We meet Dec. 11 at the Swedesboro Diner on Kings Highway in Swedesboro, next to Spirit Dodge. All participants are responsible for paying for their own meal.
