WOODBURY, NJ – Joseph Nyandwaro, 41, of Perland, Texas, was sentenced to six years in state prison in a plea agreement for vehicular homicide for a truck accident that occurred in Woolwich Township in 2025.
According to documents and statements made in court, Nyandwaro was driving a tractor trailer in Woolwich Township on June 22, 2025 when his vehicle collided with another tractor trailer. The second vehicle then struck a barrier and its driver was killed in the incident.
With the assistance of the trucking company, New Jersey State Police were able to locate Nyandwaro’s truck, which appeared to have been painted to alter its appearance. Video recorded by the vehicle depicted Nyandwaro crashing into the victim’s truck, sending the second vehicle into the left concrete barrier.
