During February 2026, the Woolwich Township Police Department managed 3,148 pro-active and reactive calls for service. These included 638 Motor Vehicle Stops; 93 Targeted Radar Enforcements; 56 Motor Vehicle Crashes; 15 Motor Vehicle Complaints; 2 Assaults; 8 Domestic Violence Incidents; 3 Harassment Incidents; and 14-Arrests (7-Warrants, 2-Driving Under the Influence, 2-Burglary, 1-Driving While Suspended, 1-Simple Assault, 1-Obstruction).
Feb. 1: (Swedesboro) Patrols were dispatched to Broad Street for a reported disturbance. Incident was resolved without further law enforcement action.
Feb. 2: (Swedesboro) During the course of a motor vehicle stop on Kings Highway, it was found the operator had an active warrant. They were arrested, processed, and released on their own recognizance roadside with a future court date.
Feb. 4: (Woolwich) Subsequent to a call for an erratic driver, the operator of the suspect vehicle crashed and was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
Feb. 4: (Woolwich) During the course of a motor vehicle stop on Route 322, it was found the operator had an active warrant. They were arrested, processed, and released on their own recognizance roadside with a future court date.
Feb. 5: (Woolwich) Patrol units were dispatched to the area of Auburn Road and High Hill Road for a reported hit and run crash with no injuries reported.
Feb. 8: (Woolwich) Patrol units were dispatched to CVS (Center Square Road) for shoplifting. Numerous suspects stole various items totaling approximately $1,500. Investigation is on-going.
Feb. 12: (Woolwich) During a motor vehicle stop, the operator became uncooperative. They were placed under arrest for obstruction, and for an outstanding warrant. The subject was processed and released pending a future court date.
Feb. 14: (Swedesboro) Patrol units responded to Allen Street for a reported hit and run overnight. Investigation on-going.
Feb. 15: (Woolwich) Patrol was dispatched to the area of Center Square Road and Amesbury Boulevard for an erratic driver complaint. Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, the operator was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
Feb. 15: (Woolwich) Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 322 and Paulsboro Road, it was found that the operator had an outstanding warrant. The subject was arrested, processed, and turned over to the issuing agency.
Feb. 17: (Swedesboro) Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Broad Street and Leahy Avenue, it was found that the operator had an outstanding warrant. The subject was processed roadside and given a future court date.
Feb. 20: (Swedesboro) Patrol was dispatched to the area of Fow Avenue for a reported disturbance. Issue resolved without further law enforcement action.
Feb. 21: (Woolwich) Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 322 and Stone Meeting House Road, it was found that the operator had an outstanding warrant. The subject was arrested, processed, and turned over to the issuing outside agency.
Feb. 26: (Woolwich) Patrol received a walk-in report of two credit cards being illegally accessed.
Feb. 26: (South Harrison) Patrol received a report of fraud, specifically the fraudulent use of an individual’s credit card.
Feb. 28: (Woolwich) Patrol received a report of approximately $70,000 stolen from a bank account. Investigation on-going.
