DEPTFORD — The Gloucester County NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) hosted its Annual Freedom Fund Dinner & Gam Changers Awards presentation on Oct. 30. Many past and present award winners, joined by corporate sponsors, public officials, family, friends and community members gathered to socialize, reminisce and honor the 2016 Game Changers:
Prestigious President’s Award: Sean Dalton, Gloucester County Prosecutor
Joseph Jones, Former Woodbury Superintendent of Schools

Dr. Irene Hill Smith Civil Rights Award: Wilfredo “Wil” Rojas, M.Ed.. 3rd VP GC NAACP

Law & Justice Award: Gregg Zeff, Esq. Civil Rights Attorney

To become a Gloucester County NAACP Game Changer, potential honorees can be nominated by their peers or any member of the public. A selection committee makes the decision on the honorees.
Wilfredo “Wil” Rojas, communications chairs for the Gloucester County NAACP, quoted Sir Winston Churchill in saying, “We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.” The honorees are worthy of this recognition because they give much too all the communities of South Jersey.”
