Nov. 6: Police were dispatched to a XPO Logistics, 2810 Oldmans Creek Rd., for a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, the caller advised that he was threatened and assaulted by a coworker. Review of the surveillance footage of the incident comfirmed the assault. The suspect, 27 year old Moein Kabianpour of Philadelphia, fled the scene prior to police arrival. He was charged with two counts of assault and was also found to have numerous warrants for his arrest. Attempts to have him served have been met with negative results.
Nov. 9: Incident to a motor vehicle stop, a 36 year old Woodbury man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Washington Township Municipal Court. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default of $1039 bail.
Nov. 15: Incident to a motor vehicle stop, a 28 year old Pennsville man was arrested on two outstanding warrants from Mantua Township Municipal Court and Bellmawr Boro Municipal Court. He was processed and turned over to Mantua Township PD in default of $1,300 bail.
Nov. 18: An employee of Amazon Fulfillment, 2651 Oldmans Creek Rd., reported that his wallet containing his identification documents, a debit card and approximately $70 in cash had been stolen from his jacket in the break room. Through on site investigation and review of surveillance footage of the area, a 32 year old male from Collingswood was identified as the suspect. He was charged with theft and served a summons by mail as he has not returned to work since the incident. He has a pending date in Logan Township Municipal Court.
Nov. 20: A Stone Henge Dr. resident reported her unlocked vehicle had been entered and approximately $21 in cash had been stolen from within the center console. No evidence could be located in order to identify a suspect.
Nov. 20: A Carriage Lane resident reported that his unlocked vehicle was entered and his wallet was stolen from within. The wallet contained his identification documents, three credit cards and approximately $30 in cash. No evidence could be located in order to identify a suspect.
Nov. 21: A Sussex Rd. resident reported that his unlocked vehicle had been entered the previous evening and his wallet was stolen. Contained within the wallet were several credit cards and when the victim checked his transaction history, one of them had been used at ACME, 1619 Center Square Road. Upon reviewing the surveillance video of the transaction, officers were able to identify the suspects as a 19 year old Logan Township woman and a juvenile male from Vineland. Both were eventually taken into custody, processed and charged with Credit Card Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and Theft. The female was released on a summons pending Grand Jury action. The juvenile was turned over to the custody of his mother to await Family Court action.
Nov. 23: Incident to a motor vehicle stop for an illegal u-turn, police detected the odor of marijuana in the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and a quantity of marijuana was seized. A passenger in the vehicle, a 22 year old Paulsboro man, claimed ownership of the narcotics and was subsequently arrested. He was transported to headquarters where he was processed, served his summons for Possession of Under 50g of Marijuana and released pending a date in Logan Township Municipal Court.
Nov. 23: Police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Carriage Lane and incident to that investigation, a 26 year old Logan Township man was arrested for DWI. He was transported to headquarters where he was processed and submitted to breath testing. He was charged with DWI and Careless Driving and released to a family member pending a date in Logan Township Municipal Court.
Nov. 24: Police were dispatched to McDonald’s, 1701 Center Square Rd., for a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival the suspect had already fled the scene. The investigation revealed that the male, later identified through surveillance footage as a 22 year old Logan Township man, entered the store irate after receiving his order in the drive through and realizing the order was wrong. He then screamed obscenities at staff in the store and proceeded to kick and throw the Christmas tree in the restaurant, damaging same. Several hours later he came to headquarters and was processed and served with a summons charging him with Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief. He was then released with a date pending in Logan Township Municipal Court.
Nov. 24: Police responded to American Food Service, 2339 Center Square Rd. for a report of a stolen vehicle. It was discovered that sometime between the evening of Nov. 22 and the morning of Nov. 24 unknown actor(s) stole a 2018 Freightliner refrigerated box truck. There was no surveillance footage of the incident.
Nov. 24: Incident to a motor vehicle stop, police detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the passenger compartment. A subsequent probable cause search revealed a bag containing suspected marijuana under the driver’s seat and a hand rolled cigarette containing suspected marijuana in the ashtray. The driver, a 26 year old Newark, DE man, was arrested and transported to headquarters. He was then processed, served a summons charging him with Under 50g of Marijuana, and released pending a date pending in Logan Township Municipal Court.
Nov. 28: Police responded to 395 Pedricktown Rd., a building under construction, for a report of a stolen forklift. It was described as a Komatsu Forklift, yellow and green in color, with a value of approximately $15,000. No evidence could be located to assist in identifying a suspect.
Nov. 30: A 19 year old Camden City man was seen walking on Interstate 295 in violation of New Jersey Traffic Regulations. While gathering information as to the man’s identity, he provided false information to the officer. He was subsequently arrested for Obstruction of the Administration of Law. Once at headquarters the man continued to provide false names to officers. Ultimately he was fingerprinted and his true identity was determined. While in the processing room he slipped his hands from his restraints and attempted to escape from the building. The suspect, Sean Huff, was charged with Escape and Obstruction and remanded to the Salem County Jail to await a detention hearing.
Dec. 1: Police were dispatched to Heritage Bag Company, 2321 High Hill Rd. for a report of an assault. The ensuing investigation revealed that two co-workers, a 39 year old male and a 31 year old female, both from Chester, PA, engaged in a fight in the warehouse. As a result, both were arrested and charged with simple assault. They were processed and released pending a date in Logan Township Municipal Court.
Dec. 5: Police responded to Mitsubishi Truck Sales, 2015 Center Square Rd., for a report of theft. Upon arrival, it was discovered that two wheels and tires were removed from a vehicle in the parking lot at approximately 6:00 a.m. No video surveillance was available to assist in the investigation. The total value of the loss is approximately $800.
Dec. 6: Incident to a motor vehicle stop, police observed a hypodermic needle cap within the vehicle. A subsequent probable cause search revealed that the driver, a 26 year old Alloway man, had 5 wax folds containing suspected heroin and a hypodermic syringe on his person, as well as a bag of suspected methamphetamines and additional drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. He was arrested and transported to headquarters for processing. There, he was fingerprinted, photographed and served his warrant charging him with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Failure to Surrender CDS to Police, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was remanded to the Salem County Jail to await a detention hearing.
Dec. 6: Police were dispatched to Mitsubishi Motors, 516 Heron Dr. for a report of criminal mischief. Unknown actor(s) had shattered a window on a vehicle, presumably in order to look for a locking lug key. Damage is estimated to be $1000.
Dec. 8: While conducting a property check at Firestone, 307 Village Center Dr., police observed a suspicious vehicle pull into the lot and park behind the business despite the fact that the driver was not dropping off a vehicle for service nor picking a vehicle up. When officers inquired as to the reason for the driver being on the property, he gave irrational and conflicting stories. The resulting investigation gave rise to reasonable suspicion that the driver, a 21 year old Camden man, and his passenger, a 25 year old Camden man, were involved in criminal activity. An East Greenwich Police K-9 conducted an exterior sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive indication as to the presence of narcotics within the vehicle. Probable cause searches were conducted of both men and the vehicle and the men were both found to be in possession of suspected marijuana which was packaged consistent with it being prepared for distribution. Twenty five additional individual packages of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and on open container of alcohol were found inside the vehicle. The men were arrested and transported to headquarters where they were fingerprinted and photographed. They were charged with numerous criminal offenses including possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. Same were served their summonses and released pending a date in Gloucester County Superior Court.
Dec. 11: Incident to a motor vehicle stop a 44 year old Wilmington, DE man was taken into custody on an outstanding Fugitive warrant from Delaware County, PA. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail to await extradition.
Dec. 12: A Hamilton St. resident reported that at some time during the overnight hours, an unknown individual entered his unlocked vehicle and removed a Samsung Galaxy 4 tablet from the vehicle. The tablet, which belonged to his employer, was valued at approximately $400.
Dec. 13: Amazon.com Human Resources and Loss Prevention Departments reported that they have had gift cards valued at over $2,600 stolen from their Center Square Rd. facility over the past several months. While a suspect has been identified, the investigation is ongoing. Charges are pending the completion of that investigation.
Dec. 13: Logan Township Police were requested to assist Woolwich Police who were investigating a vehicle burglary on Westbrook Drive. While officers were checking the area for the suspects, they observed evidence that numerous vehicles in the Vineyards development had been burglarized as well. The suspects, a 20 year old Logan Township man and a juvenile male from Woolwich Township, were located and they fled on foot attempting to evade arrest. After a brief foot pursuit, both individuals were arrested on Catawba Drive. They were transported to headquarters for processing. The Logan Township man was charged with Burglary, Theft, Trespassing, Resisting Arrest by Flight, and Obstruction of the Administration of Law. He was released pending Grand Jury action. The juvenile was charged with the same offenses on a Juvenile Petition and was released to the custody of his mother pending a date in Family Court.
