WORK is underway at the site of the former Swedesboro Auction on Locke Avenue (top) to install a public skating rink. The orange cones mark the outline of the area to be used. Although not as large as the on Rowan Campus skating rink (bottom) in Glassboro, the Swedesboro rink will be open for public skating as well as hockey games. Mother Nature will have to be cooperating, though, because no underground cooling system will be installed.
