LOGAN TWP. — On Thursday, Feb. 6 Fulton Bank located in Logan Township was robbed.
According to Logan Twp. Police Capt. Robert Leash, at approximately 1:33 p.m., the Logan Twp. Police Department responded to an activate hold up alarm at the Fulton Bank at 22 Village Center Drive. Upon arrival officers were advised that a man had just left after presenting a demand note.
The man was described as a six foot tall, medium build, white male, who was approximately 30 to 40 years of age. He was wearing a grey jacket, blue jeans and a black knit hat.
The suspect approached a teller, produced a demand note and stated “This is a robbery. Give me $10,000 and do not look at my face.” He then exited the bank and fled in a light blue or gray four door pickup with no front tag.
Logan officers conducted an extensive search of the surrounding areas which yielded negative results. Logan Elementary and the Center Square School were notified of the incident, and went into lock out mode as a precaution.
CITGO STATION
The Citgo gas station located on Center Square Road in Beckett was also robbed.
On Monday, Feb. 17 at approximately 3:22 a.m., Logan Twp. Police responded to the Citgo gas station at for a reported armed robbery. Responding officers were advised that two men, one armed with a large hunting knife the other with a black semi-automatic handgun, had just fled on foot in a westerly direction towards I-295.
Upon arrival, officers learned that the suspects entered the store and demanded all the money from the cash register. They then went behind the counter and placed an undetermined amount of money in a large, black duffle bag.
The man with the knife was wearing a black jacket with a red “hoody” style sweatshirt, a blue knit hat and blue gloves. The man with the gun was wearing all black clothing along with a black ski mask. The suspect’s identities were obscured preventing further identification.
Logan Officers, assisted by Woolwich Twp. Police and a Glassboro K-9, conducted an extensive search of the surrounding areas which yielded negative results. Anyone with information regarding
